We are excited to announce the public release of the RedirHub MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server — a powerful new way to manage your redirect infrastructure directly through AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. And best of all: it is now available on every plan.

The MCP server lets AI coding assistants and automation agents interact with your RedirHub workspace directly — creating, updating, and managing redirects, hosts, domains, and more without switching contexts.

What is Included

The MCP Public API v1 (/mcp/v1) ships with a comprehensive set of resources and tools:

Browse redirects, links, hosts, workspace settings, members, account details, plugins, record types, and more — directly from your AI tool.

🛠 23 Action Tools

Full CRUD operations for links, redirects, hosts, members, and workspaces. Plus bulk import/export with dry-run safety, bulk updates, and bulk deletes.

🔐 Secure by Default

Authenticated via Sanctum API tokens with built-in rate limiting (30 requests per minute per user). Your workspace data stays protected while remaining accessible to your AI tools.

Available on Every Plan

The MCP server is no longer restricted to Enterprise. Free, Starter, Pro, and Business users all get access. Check the updated pricing page for the full MCP feature comparison across plans.

We are launching a major upgrade to the RedirHub Affiliate Program — milestone-based bonus rewards that put extra credits in your account at key moments in your referral journey.

The new milestone system rewards you not just for ongoing referrals, but for hitting meaningful conversion moments. Every time someone you referred takes a key action, you earn bonus credits on top of your regular affiliate commissions.

How Milestone Rewards Work

🎯 Activation Milestone — $30 Credits

When someone you referred activates their RedirHub account and starts using the product, you earn $30 in bonus credits. This rewards you for bringing in active users — not just signups.

💳 First Paid Conversion — $30 Credits

When a referred user upgrades to any paid plan for the first time, you earn another $30 in bonus credits. This is on top of your standard affiliate commission for that conversion.

Track Your Progress

The affiliate dashboard now includes a campaign banner showing your current milestone progress at a glance. You will see exactly how close you are to your next bonus and which milestones you have already unlocked.

📊 Referral Page Visit Tracking

New page visit metrics are now visible in your affiliate dashboard, showing how many people are landing on your referral pages. This gives you better visibility into your referral funnel — from page visits to signups to paid conversions.

We’re rolling out two important updates to make RedirHub more powerful and easier to use.

Free Plan Just Got a Major Upgrade

We’ve significantly increased what you can do on the free plan:

• Hostnames: 2 (unchanged)
• URLs (links): increased from 5 → 100

This means you can now migrate entire websites for free.

Instead of being limited to a handful of redirects, you can now:

• Redirect all your key pages
• Handle full site migrations
• Set up proper SEO redirects without upgrading

Whether you're moving domains or cleaning up old URLs, the free plan now gives you enough capacity to do it properly.

URL Shortener Now Included in Redirect Plans

We’re simplifying things by merging our URL shortener into the main redirect product.

• No more separate URL Shortener plans
• Everything now lives under one unified redirect system
• You get both redirection + link shortening in a single plan

This means more value without extra cost or complexity.

What Happens to Existing Shortener Customers?

If you're currently on a URL shortener plan:

• You will be automatically migrated to the closest equivalent redirect plan
• No action needed from your side
• You’ll retain access while gaining additional redirect features

We want RedirHub to be:

• More powerful out of the box
• Easier to understand and use
• Better value for all users

Starting 15 March, we will be updating how Google login works in RedirHub.

Previously, it was possible to log in with Google even if the Google account email was different from the email used in the RedirHub account.

With this update, Google login will only work if the Google account email matches the email registered on the RedirHub account.

Why we are making this change

This update improves account security and ensures that Google authentication is correctly linked to the corresponding RedirHub account.

What this means for affected users

If your RedirHub account email is different from the email used in your Google account:

• You will not be able to log in using Google after 15 March.
• You can still log in using email and password.

If you want to continue using Google login

You have two options:

1. Change your RedirHub account email to match your Google account email.
2. Continue using email + password login.

If you need help updating your account email, please contact support.

We’ve updated the RedirHub pricing page to make our plans more flexible and accessible for users with different needs.

What’s New

• Flexible hostname selection

You can now choose exactly how many hostnames you need using our new pricing slider. This makes it easier to scale your plan based on your actual usage instead of fitting into rigid tiers.

• Simplified plan configuration

The new slider allows you to quickly adjust your plan and instantly see the corresponding pricing, making it easier to estimate costs as your usage grows.

Many users manage different numbers of domains or redirects over time. The new flexible pricing model allows you to scale up or down easily while only paying for what you actually need.

This update is part of our effort to make RedirHub more flexible as users grow and manage larger domain portfolios.
